Hearts Entwined For Creative Expressions ....

Time to share my last project for Creative Expressions using the Hearts Entwined stamp set. A quick and easy tag to let someone know you care using non traditional "love" colours.

I started off by swiping some Picket Fence Distress Stain over a Manilla Tag to give the base of the tag some "tooth" before applying the next layer as this gives you a truer/deeper colour. Dry with a heat gun before applying the next layer of colour.

I then applied Peacock Feathers Distress Stain again using a heat gun to dry. For the background stamping I used Tim Holtz Mixed Media & World Traveler stamp sets inked using Picket Fence Distress Stain then stamping the "bubble wrap" again using Archival Ink (Jet Black)

I then used a left over piece of metal from a previous project which had been embossed using a Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Embossing Folder (Ornamental Iron) which was then painted with an Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber (Pitch Black), blot excess paint off with kitchen roll then sand back to reveal the underneath layer before applying a light coat of Gold with your finger to enhance the raised details, again wipe off any excess, attach to tag with Tim Holtz/Ideaology Tiny Attacher.

Stamp "heart" from Hearts Entwined set onto cardstock, colour with Peacock Feathers Distress Stain an lightly stamp "chicken wire" from the Mixed Media Stamp Set with left over Picket Fence Distress Stain.

The design team have received their new stamps for the next coming month ... to say I'm a tad excited is an understatement! Watch this space!!

Love the colour of the peacock feathers over the picket fence, and the heart in the middle is gorgeous. You've got me intrigued to see what you'll be up to next, now!
