Hello everyone and welcome to our first challenge over on the Snazzy DT blog
Our first challenge has the theme of Love/Romance which is open until midnight on the 13TH February, the winner will be announced on Valentines Day. The winner will receive this candy courtsey of Snazzy Stamping & Scrapbooking Ltd
You can see more of what the talented DT have been up to here using the Darkroom Door Word Block "Love" set.
For my project (still in my wooden block phase) I started out by covering each side of said block using papers from the 7Dots Studio "Dreamer" Collection
Using a Sizzix Heart Die I stamped the Darkroom Door Word Block Stamp in Archival Ink (Coffee & Vermillion), the gauze netting was also coloured using Vermillion.
I also used a Crafters Workshop Mask (Chicken Wire) on the 7Dots paper again using the Archival Ink colours above.
The foundation feet have been inked with Adirondack Paint Dabber Pitch Black then swiped with Gold Patina Paint. The Ornate Plate has been coloured likewise ....
are you still with me lol (sorry long post) .... so whatcha waiting for .... go get inky!!
