The Head Is A Machine .... Steampunk

Good evening one and all ... crikey it has been nearly a whole seven days since I last posted (hangs head in shame) .... must do better! The last week or so has demanded my time in other ways, mainly work, lots of things going on just now which means less time getting inky. Monday sees a new theme set by the lovely Linda E over at Simon Says Stamp and Show .... Distressed/Torn Edges. As always there is a generous $50 shopping voucher from the site sponsors and be sure to stop by the talented DT blogs.

For this tag I started off by using a Tim Holtz mask then blending with Distress Inks in Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo & Faded Jeans, a spritz of water here and there then drying with a heat gun. I then used the Tonic Edge Distresser around the edges then some Vintage Photo to grunge it up a bit more. Stamps are from Wendy Vecchi & Tim Holtz

I have another work in progress which I hope to finish this week .... so I will be back before another seven days pass! As always I appreciate you all dropping by and leaving such lovely comments, thank you!

Sunday Stampers has the theme of "Steampunk" this week set by the lovely Hel's

Really love the colors and theme of this tag. The distressing really makes the piece look rusted.
