Distress Inks & A Tag ....

Good Evening one and all ... time to catch up with my favourite challenges. Grungy Monday #10 this week has the theme of "Distress Inks" for more details click HERE where you will be transported into the world of fab products and techniques that is none other than Thee Tim Holtz ........ And over at Simon Says Stamp & Show the theme this week is .... show us a "Tag" ... well it would be rude not to! So out come a large blank manilla tag, a selection of Distress Inks in Peeled Paint, Bundled Sage, Wild Honey and Vintage Photo.

Next came the Grungeboard which Vlad made easy work of with the Sewing Room Die and Texture Fade. I love the effect you get from the Kraft Resist Paper Stash too

I then wrapped some Trimming around the cotton reel which was sprayed with Butterscotch Adirondack Colour Wash and a little ickle metal cotton reel charm available here.

When I'd finished my tag, with the dress forms, my DH said he wondered what it would have looked like if I'd staggered mine more - as you did! I love how yours looks!!

GORGEOUS work, Gillian! I love how you used the Distress Inks to create this lovely vintage piece, and the way you stacked the dress forms gives it such great depth and texture. Beautiful colors, too!
