Time Travellers - Enjoy The Journey ....

One of my all time favourite sayings from Tim Holtz is "The Journey Is Never Truly Over, It Just Changed Course" (Words For Thoughts) stamp set and I think it's just perfect for these new "Time Travellers" - meet "Wyatt and Doc" ..... don't you think!!

{close up of Wyatt}
{ close up of Doc)

I started out by inking up this "text" stamp from the Tim Holtz (World Traveller) stamp set in Archival Ink (Pale Ochre) using a #10 Tag from Ranger.

Next using Archival Ink (Jet black) stamp "Wyatt" image

onto previously stamped background, then trim.

Choose colours to work with ... I have used Distress Stain (Weathered Wood, Old Paper & Frayed Burlap). Smooch some onto your craft mat, I've also spritzed some water onto the mat ready to dilute the stains for a lighter colour wash. It also helps blend the colour easier too.

 Again using Archival Ink (Jet black) ink up "Doc" image.

Start off by colouring the image above with Weathered Wood, heat dry before edging image with Frayed Burlap Distress Stain.

Stamp saying onto #10 Kraft Tag from Ranger using Archival Ink (Jet Black), trim top of tag off, edge in Distress Ink (Walnut Stain).

Tear piece of Kraft Tag, stamp "wheels" using Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) then ink up "Typewriter" alphabet from Tim Holtz (School Desk) stamp set using Archival Ink (Jet Black) onto top part of tag that was torn. Set aside for now. Stamp "suitcases" also onto Kraft Tag and cut out.

Using Water Brush & Frayed Burlap Distress Stain, shade "Wyatt" image, then dry with heat gun.

Stamp "Enjoy The Journey" from Tim Holtz (Just Thoughts) stamp set onto scrap Kraft. Tear Ideaology Ticket, ink edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Assemble collage images onto tag, finish off by adding staples using Tiny Attacher and Ideaology Paper String. I also added the words "Timeless Chronicles" from my Ideaology Chit Chat book.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a good week ahead. x

Die Farb-Kombination ist super schön.
Und auch die Stempel hast du wunderbar ausgewählt und eingesetzt.
Ich bin überrascht, wie schön, das geworden ist.
