I'm back with the last of my makes for Creative Expressions using the Art Houses A5 Stamp Set designed by Sam Poole. A quick and easy piece of art to send to an arty pal.
These A7 pieces of Mountboard from Creative Expressions make the ideal basis for that "quick" piece of art. I started out by "splatting" the Distress Stain (Salty Ocean) onto the mountboard, heat dry before proceeding to your next layer.
Next ink up the "sending you art" image from the Art Houses Set using Archival Ink (Jet Black)
and stamp onto "splats".
Time for some more "splats" this time using Distress Stain (Spiced Marmalade).
Again using the "sending you art" stamp, stamp onto remaining "splats", heat dry before applying Distress Stain (Brushed Pewter) around the edges.
Stamp saying below using Archival Ink (Jet Black) onto another piece of mountboard and trim to size.
"Splat" some more colour this time using Distress Stain (Peacock Feathers).
Finally attach "saying" using Faux Screw Brads to background.
Until next time stay inky ... don't forget to check out what the rest of the team are creating with these stamps. x

That is so clever! I love the distress stain splatters, and how you've used them, perfect!! What a great stamp set that is.
That looks great, the colours are fab. And there's something very satisfying about splatting. :)
