New JOFY Stamps ....

Today is the start of the big reveal of new Guest Designers showcasing their rubber stamp designs over at PaperArtsy .... phew finally glad all is revealed, any longer and I thought I would self combust lol!

Jo's new designs are utterly brilliant, quirky, contemporary and a pleasure to create with. I was very fortunate to receive some of her new designs from Leandra. Samples below are from JOFY10, JOFY11& JOFY 12. To see the new designs click HERE

Splat And Stamp

A quick and easy make using Distress Stains (Picked Raspberry & Mowed Lawn). Simply splat ink, dry with heat gun, stamp images using Archival Ink.

Wooden Double Icon

These wooden substrates are great for altering. I started out by painting the icon with Fresco Finish Acrylic Paints in Very Berry, Rusty Rose with a hint of Nougat to knock the colour back. For contrast I stamped the "grid" image using Snowflake. All other images have been stamped in Archival Ink then the flowers coloured using watered down Mermaid & Autumn Fire. The stems wer coloured using Hey Pesto & Limelight. I've also used some Ferro through the Leaf Stencil then highlighted using Claret & Treasure Gold (Rose Quartz), to add depth to the edges I added some more Claret and Rose Quartz.

Stay tuned the next few days as Mr & Mrs PA reveal more sneak peaks. Watch out these designs are coming to a store near you!

Gorgeous, Gillian - the splats are delicious, as fresh and alive as the stamps themselves. And they look fantastic against that beautiful painty background too... I've got to go back and play some more now!!

These stamps are gorgeous and I love what you've done with them Gillian. Specially love the splat and stamp technique.....so up to the minute. I'm in a right old quandry now because after getting Jo's first set the other week (my little project had to be left half finished to play with some DT stuff.... more fun ;-)) I've really fallen in love with her style but I'm wondering what else is coming up over the next few days from PaperArtsy and how far I can make the pennies stretch, lol!
