Good morning everyone .... as it says in the title, I'm sharing my first design team project for Creative Expressions (happy dance) using "Steampunk Christmas" designed by Sam Poole.
I'm delighted to have been chosen to join the team for 2012/2013 along with 7 uber talented ladies.

Now as you know I love all things "steampunk" so I couldn't pass by Sam's fab set! I have chosen to use the Large Circles & Square Frames Studio 490 Art Part set as my base ...
which I inked the outer circle with Distress Stain (Tarnished Brass). I used cardstock from the Kraft/Black Paper Pack 6x6 to cover the inner circle. The cogs on the outer circle have been stamped using Archival Ink (Jet Black). I die cut the cogs from the Spellbinders By Donna Salazar (Sprightly Sprockets set) onto a metal sheet which was distressed using Acrylic Paint Dabbers (Pitch Black & Gold). The sentiment has been stamped onto card from the "Neutrals Cardstock Set" and die cut using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Seventeen Die.
The bird image has been stamped onto cardstock and coloured with Distress Markers ( Weathered Wood, Rusty Hinge & Forest Moss)
The cogs have been embellished using the Self Adhesive Pearl Packs in 5mm & 8MM (Black).
