Hello everyone, finally the weather has changed for the better and it's been el scorchio up here (16c) ... that's hot for us lol.
This week over at Simon Says Stamp the theme is "Summer Holidays" .... so with thoughts of bygone summer holidays and the memories they evoke ... what springs to mind .... lazy hot summer days, dipping your feet in tepid waters, enjoying the odd glass of vino ... doesn't it make you want to go back there .... ahhh bliss.
This is where my memories are....

I have used Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers) using the spritz & flick technique to add some interest to the background. The stamp set is from PaperArtsy .... the quote "Joie de Vivre" means "joy of living; enjoyment of life. The flowers are from Prima, I've also highlighted some areas using Crafty Notions (Gleam Gold).

Gillian...I love your piece! That blue background really does look like the oceans in that gorgeous photo of your paradise (Maldives). The black stamping done against it looks fantastic. Love your little flowers, too. The bottle is amazing with the cream trim running behind it. I also love the dimensional heart with Tim's plaquette. Beautiful piece!
