Oh La La .... I have been such an ever so patient girl waiting to get my inky mitts on some of the new Wendy Vecchi stamps & art parts. So whilst helping to set up the stand for Val & Don on Friday at Ally Pally (yes I was unpacking the Studio 490 goodies .... (sheesh they must have lots of trust in me lol), it went a little like this "one for me" "one for the stand" .... good job Nicky was on standy by to pass the paper bag as I hyperventilated lol.
So after having spent the afternoon getting very inky fingers and deciding on what new goodies to use, I finally came up with this European Art Dimensional Board.
I have used Distress Inks in Crushed Olive, Evergreen Bough & Wild Honey to colour the main Art Parts, the smaller art parts have been swiped with Distress Stain (Picket Fence), zapped with the heat gun before stamping the co-ordinating images with Archival Ink (Jet Black). I then lightly inked with Vintage Photo. I've used various Idealogy embellishments and the cool metal ruler is from PaperArtsy
Luckily this week's theme over at Simon Says Stamp & Show is "Anything Goes". This project also fit in with The Sunday Stampers theme "Man of the World"
Well it's back to reality tomorrow with my short break over (booo), so I must be away and get organised. Thanks for stopping by, it means alot. x
