Hello everyone .... hope you are all surviving the drop in temperature across the U.K, brrrrrr baby it's cold outside. We even had our first snow fall today, albeit a light covering. So how come I'm blogging for my fav challenge blog on a Monday (unheard of), well I took a couple of days holiday from work to 1.) catch up on the #12 Tags of christmas & 2.) to watch my friend Hels debut with Studio 490 goodies on Create & Craft tomorrow ... you can catch the shows at 2pm & 7pm U.K time (GO HELS GO HELS).
However, today did not start off very well .... indeed I have to say I am gutted!!! Vlad my trusty Vagabond bit the dust ... poof .... gone! Then if things couldn't get any worse I smacked my head off the kitchen cupboard (which I had left open lol), THEN when I stepped out the back door my foot went from underneath me (pesky snow/ice) .... smack down I went. I'm now nursing a sore hip, elbow & shoulder lol. Think I best not touch anything else today!
Anyways .... the point of this post is the lovely Linda E has chosen the theme of "Time" over at Simon Says Stamp & Show.
Now I don't have those yummy big Pocket Watch Art Parts yet, so I set out to create my own one. I started out with the Large Circle Art Part inking with Distress Stains Frayed Burlap & Brushed Corduroy. I then stamped the text image from the Love To Make Art set in Archival Ink (Coffee). I used paper from Tim Holtz Crowded Attic Paper Pad to cover the circle insert and edged with Distress Inks (Walnut Stain). I then stamped the curiosity image from Tims Curiosities Set. The same colours of Distress Stains were then used to ink the Pocket Watch Art Part. I stamped the clock image from Tims Soulful Journey set onto cardstock. I then stamped the gent from the Seriously Art set, cut out and adhered inside the pocket watch with 3d foam pads to give extra dimension. All embellishments are from the Ideaology range.
Off to mourn the loss of Vlad the Vagabond and probably sulk until I get a replacement.
Oh before I forget ...... DON'T FORGET TO WATCH HELS TOMORROW DEMOING STUDIO 490 ... WOO HOO.

This is brilliant Gillian. Great challenge entry and I love all the bits and pieces.
I'm hoping to watch Hels tomorrow too but I've set the box to record just in case our new family member chooses to arrive tomorrow, lol! He's playing a game of stop, start since last week.
Hugs
