Art Is Not What You See ... Art Is ...

... What you help others to see! (Art Inspiration)
Good Afternoon everyone .... what a day of inkyness it's been for me I'm glad to say, I have an extra day off tomorrow so no need to cram all the mundane chores like housework etc into today. Sunday as always sees a new theme over at Sunday Stampers hosted by the ever lovely Hels. This week the challenge is to "Build your own flower embellies".

The base of my hanging is from the Large Creative Covers Art Parts set, which I have covered with cardstock from the Crowded Attic paper stash and inked with Weathered Wood,Stormy Sky & Pumice Stone Distress Inks and then spritzed with Dylusions Inks in Worn Leather. All stamps are Studio 490. Other DI colours used are Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Pine Needles, Vintage Photo & Walnut Stain. The flower embellishment has been stamped twice and inked with Wild Honey and then adhered to the floral art part with 3d foam to give the appearance of depth. And for me, no project is complete without using various Ideaology metal embellishments.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Also a hello & thank you to some more new followers to my blog.
