Camouflage .... Wk 154 SS

Good evening all ... hope everyone has had a good weekend. Sunday can only mean one thing (not the end of the weekend lol) ... but a new theme over at Sunday Stampers. Hel's has challenged us this week to use"Camouflage/Khaki/Green Colours" in our entries this week.

So having spent most of the day watching the footie and waiting on THE Tim Holtz making a special announcement (more of that at the end of this post) and generally lounging about lol, thought it best to move myself from said sofa over to the inky area. I painted my faithful 7x5 canvas board with my fav PaperArtsy Fresco Paints
.... I started off by painting a layer of London Night , dried with heat gun then a thin layer of Honey Dew, again drying with heat gun, then applying a thin layer of Crackle Glaze, dry again then a final coat of Toad Hall.

All stamps are from THE Tim Holtz collections (Soulful Journey & World Traveller). I used the Ornamental Movers & Shapers die which also got the Fresco Paint treatment only this time reversing the colours Toad Hall & Honey Dew.

I have also used the Rosette die which has been stamped with an image from the World Traveller set. The long quote is also from this set which I have broken up and attached with 3d foam.

Start spreading the news ... THE Tim Holtz has something very special up his sleeve, to find out what click HERE

gorgeous Gillian. sometimes you can have too much of one colour but it's not in the least bit overpowering. lovely combination of elements.

lovely work again. its some great stamping. and i agree with the above comment... its not too much of the one colour as its soft and subtle enough to not overpower. :)
