"Courage Is Being Yourself For Creative Expressions ....

Sorry for the lack of blogging on here of late. Time just seems to have flown by (again) this week so I'm making a last minute dash before the week ends to show my 3rd make using the Floral Sihouette Stamp Set for Creative Expressions. My hours at the moment are being taken up with work related studies which is due to end in the next couple of months .... eeeek the pressure is on!!

The background to this card was made up of Distress Inks (Peacock Feathers & Rusty Hinge). I started off by blending Peacock Feathers onto white card, bleaching some of the areas of the background by spritzing water before drying with a heat gun. I then used the background stamp from Tim Holtz's Papillon set using Archival Ink (Aquamarine) then repeating with Rusty Hinge.

I then stamped the flowers and butterflies from the Floral Silhouette set using Archival Ink (Jet Black). I've also used Sam Pooles Chicken Wire stamp on the background. Next I inked a piece of scrap card with Rusty Hinge, then stamped the quote which is from Tim Holtz "Way With Words Set" before attaching to a scrap of manilla kraft card using my Tiny Attacher.

The background was then attached to a piece of Manilla Kraft Card which was cut to size then the edges distressed and inked with Rusty Hinge.

Thanks for bearing with me and taking the time to stop by and leave a comment ... I have soooo much blog hopping to catch up with. Right I must be off as I'm meeting up with my arty buddies this weekend Michelle and Darcy (still got to pack and get train ticket eek)   ... woop!

Until next time .... stay inky. xx

TFS your lovely card, I don't know where the time goes. So many things to do, so little time to do it. Kim.
