Bloomin Marvellous For Creative Expressions ....

Time for my 1st make of the month for Creative Expressions using the Heartfelt Delicate Asters Stamp Set.  Have to say I'm loving these flower designs, they make such a great focal piece.

I've used the Rectangle frame from Wendy Vecchi's Art Parts Square & Rectangle Frames as the base of the project. Using a Cut N Dry foam pad to apply Distress Paint (Rusty Hinge) to the inner rectangle, then a mix of Salty Ocean & Mowed Lawn Distress Paint to the outer frame, once dry I then added Walnut Stain Distress Ink around the edges. I then sparingly (I did not want a bold stamp image detracting from the flower itself) inked up Sam Poole's A6 Art Collage Stamp using Jet Black Archival Ink.

For the flowers I applied some Salty Ocean & Mowed Lawn Distress Paints onto manilla cardstock, dry with heat gun before stamping flowers with Archival Ink. Cut out each of the size flowers, before layering I edged the flowers with a Distress Marker. I then used 3d foam pads to build depth to the layers.

For the stem of the flower I've used a piece from the Wildflowers Art Parts Set
which has been painted lightly using Mowed Lawn. I then stamped it using Sam Poole's A6 Chicken Wire Stamp

I've cut various images from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Remnant Rub Ons Sets Elements & Numbers

The butterfly is from the Bugs & Butterflies Art Parts Set which has been stamped using Sam's Art Collage stamp.

You can see more inspiration by checking out what the  Design Team have done so far using this stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment ... until next time! x
