Clockwork Birds Join The Tea Party ....

This week over at Simon Says Stamp & Show it has all gone mad .... like tea party mad with some amazing makes from the DT!  As far as the theme for this week challenge .... "anything goes" so expect the unexpected .... hence I have gone for a crazy clockwork bird make!

I've altered this wooden shadow box with some Fresco Paints (French Roast, Beach Hut & South Pacific) and one of my fav stamps from PaperArtsy.

I've used cardstock from Tim Holtz Ideaology Destinations Paper Pad along with embellishments from Prima & a smooching of Distress Inks.

I've used PaperArtsy Hot Pic 1107 stamp set which has been inked with Archival Ink (Coffee), the wooden cogs were painted with Fresco Paint (Little Black Dress) and highlighted with Treasure Gold (Classic). The lattice border is from a MS punch.

Great way to kick start 2013 .... until next time stay inky! x

Gillian...your altered wooden shadow box is amazing! I so love that Paper Artsy stamp set! One of my favs! Love all of the papers, die cuts and texture you've incorporated into this little masterpiece! The bunting across the top is also really eye catching as are the feet made out of gears that support your piece. Love it! Thanks for sharing with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
