Hello everyone .... okay seriously how come it got to Thursday already and a new month!! Sooooooo much to do and not enough time to do it (sound familiar). I started this project on Monday for my two fav challenge blogs .... Simon Says Stamp & Show and Sunday Stampers who both have the theme of "Stars".
For this project I used goodies from two of my fav designers Wendy Vecchi & Tim Holtz!
I started out with a Large Square Art Part as the base which was covered in paper from the Lost & Found Paper Stack. The edges were distressed with Iced Spruce & Frayed Burlap Distress Inks. I inked the stars (Celestial Art) with Archival Inks in Emerald Green, Monarch Orange & Vermillion before trimming. The Scalloped Edge Art Part & Frame were inked with Iced Spruce and stamped with the background in Archival Ink (Jet Black) from the Celestial Art set. The dashing gent is from the Steampunk Art set and the ink bottle from the Destination Art set. The quote is also from the Destination Art set. I used Adirondack Paint Dabber in Snowcap & Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap to soften down the silver tone Ideaology wing. The key is from the Art Parts For The Guys set.
Okay if for some reason (unless you have been on another planet abducted by aliens) you haven't heard that the infamous 12 Tags Of Christmas are back, go check out the FABULOUS inspiration from the master himself HERE .... I so hope I can keep up this year (stranger things have happened)!
