I started out by painting this little wooden box in Traditional Tan, then stamping images in Archival Ink (Coffee) from Tim Holtz's (Haberdashery & Curiosities) sets. I then used Distress Inks (Vintage Photo, Pumice Stone & Walnut Stain) to age the look of the box. I have used Metallic Rub On Pastes to highlight certain area's of the box. All embellishments are from Tim's Ideaology range.

I love this! I have a box I need to turn into a sewing box and I think you've just provided the inspiration! Brilliant!

I love this!! But how do you get your DI's to stick to the Trad Tan, cos when I do that they rub off, don't dry ..... do you sand it afterwards? Confused of Sutton....lol.
LOVE this!!! And, like Gabrielle said, I think you've just inspired me to try my hand at something similar - it'd be a great gift for my daughter. Thank you!!
