Simon Says Stamp ... "Anything Goes"

Good Afternoon everyone ... well it's raining cats n dogs up here today, so spent a few hours working on my entry for this weeks Simon Says Stamp and Show where the lovely Linda E has chosen the theme "Anything Goes".

I started out by painting this little wooden box in Traditional Tan, then stamping images in Archival Ink (Coffee) from Tim Holtz's (Haberdashery & Curiosities) sets. I then used Distress Inks (Vintage Photo, Pumice Stone & Walnut Stain) to age the look of the box. I have used Metallic Rub On Pastes to highlight certain area's of the box. All embellishments are from Tim's Ideaology range.

Don't forget to stop by the DT members blog and check out the inspirational projects. As always the generous sponsors at Simon Says Stamp are offering a $50 gift voucher for the lucky winner.

I love this!! But how do you get your DI's to stick to the Trad Tan, cos when I do that they rub off, don't dry ..... do you sand it afterwards? Confused of Sutton....lol.

LOVE this!!! And, like Gabrielle said, I think you've just inspired me to try my hand at something similar - it'd be a great gift for my daughter. Thank you!!
