Grungy Monday 08 ....

Seriously.... Grungy Monday on a Monday!! ... Whatever next lol!

Having been glad to get home safely from work today, I don't know about you peeps in other parts of the country but oh my word up here on the North East Coast of Scotland we are experiencing gales of 80mph +, major disruptions everywhere .... anyways, it was lovely to find the new theme over at GM08. This technique demonstrated by THEE Tim Holtz is one I haven't done for many moons ... why I hear you ask ... well it has alot of clean spaces lol which I don't do ... however I like how this tag turned out. For all the details click HERE

My thoughts tonight are with the people of Joplin, Missouri who have been devastated by a tornado.

Stupid storms. we had a million power-cuts here. mike and david had to go move a tree off of the road before they could get home..
anyway I digress lol. Tag = gorgeous. dont know what the technique is you were to use but it looks very cool.

I hear you about the clean spaces. I hadn't thought about it but that is probably why this isn't my favourite either. You did a great job though. It's a fun tag.

Aw, this made me happy, Gillian! I love the "giggle" and "dream" teem, and the watercolor stamping looks fabulous. It's a beautiful design, and I love the balance of ink and clean spaces!

Indeed, my thoughts are also with the people of Joplin. what a horribly tragedy. I hope your weather calms down quickly, and that you stay safe and warm and dry.

And I thought we had all the wind here in Cape Town! This is a great tag using Tims water colour technique.

Wonderful. I admire the lack of open space. This is a unique statement and I just love it.

Such a unique spin on the challenge. Love all the movement in your tag. I like it, it's gritty.
