This week over at Sunday Stampers Hel's has challenged us to use "Gold" in our work. For my entry I started by painting the canvas in Paperartsy Fresco Paint (Little Black Dress), oh these paints are to die for. I then spritzed Perfect Pearls (Heirloom Gold) my all time fav from the range and blasted dry with the heat gun which gives great texture to the canvas. Then with a little help from my friend (Vlad the Vagabond) we set to work using Grungeboard & the new Sewing Die from Lord Tim's Alterations range *swoon*, I then used said Grungeboard and ran it through again this time using the Gridlock & Dot Matrix Texture Fade set. Using one of the Ideaology Journalling Tickets I stamped the above quote from TH "Stuff to Say" set and spritzed again using Perfect Pearls (Heirloom Gold). I then added these gorgeous vintage beads from my stash to the dress form. The lush flower is from Prima and other embellishments are from the Ideaology Range. Grrr ... I spent more time trying to photograph this then I did making it ... it's one of these pieces that looks so much better in real life.

i don't know how you pulled this off: i don't like gold. A bit of heirloom gold maybe, but nothing more. But this piece: i looooove. Love the texture of the canvas, love the way you dressed it up, love how it all comes together. So, i think you must be some kind of witch or something, that's the only explination i see...
