Papillon .... Fly Free Canvas

Hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend. For me it was another day of finishing off my works in progress ... this now being the last one! Using cardstock from the Crowded Attic paper stack, I set about giving it a colourwash of PaperArtsy Fresco Paints (Rusty Rose & Snowflake). I then stamped "Papillon" from Tim Holtz in Memento Ink (London Fog) & Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black). The edges of the canvas have been decorated with Tissue Tape (Journeyman & Sketchbook).
For the heart I have used Tim Holtz's Alterations Mini Hearts Mover & Shaper,

Lots more Ideaology elements ... wings, baubles, plaquettes, game spinners, philosophy tag.
The "Papillon" script is from Jo Capper-Sandon's range for Stampotique. The flowers have been made using Tim Holtz Alterations Mini Paper Rosette Die, sprayed with Dylusions Ink (Fuschia & Graphite) and all sprayed with a touch of Perfect Pearl Mist for good measure.

Edited to say: This week Hel's has chosen "Wings" as the the theme over at Sunday Stampers

Hi Gillian, thanks for leaving a comment last week.
Your early for SS! This is absolutely stunning, so much detail and gorgeous colour ;-) Have had a little scroll through and love your work. The chest caddy is fab, grea to see a manly one for a change, some parts really look like metal and the corrugated tin bit is inspired. Another fabulous piece further down too (well they all are) - the hanging art piece.
