LET IT SNOW ....

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we've no place to go, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! .... and believe me it is, there has been no let up, no work, no schools on and car buried beneath a mound of snow. I hate to imagine how much more snow we have had since then .... No work = all play for me:)

First up, to get in the holiday spirit a la Tim Holtz style, I have made this hanging canvas using "Letters from Santa" from Stampers Anonymous, Distress Ink (Stormy Sky), Tissue Tape (Tidings). Available from Happy Daze.

Secondly is this adorable litte wooden snowman. I painted the snowman with a thin layer of white acrylic paint and set aside to dry. Once dry I stamped "Chilly" from the Jo Capper-Sandon range for Stampotique, I then spritzed with Glimmer Mist Spray (Juniper) all available from Happy Daze, and dried with a heat gun. I then coated the snowman with a Versamark Embossing Pad, covered it in clear Utee, and blasted with the heat gun. I the added a jump ring and some organza lace to hang the snowman.

I'm also linking this adorable snowman to Gingersnap Creations Chesnut Theme (GC 81) "Snowpeople"
