This weeks theme over at TGIF is "The Secret Garden" chosen by Jo. One of my purchases recently was this delightful little birds nest which comes in a pack of three in varying sizes, hence this is where my idea started . I have used a canvas measuring 5x7 and used the reverse side for my little bird hideaway. When I hear the words secret garden or secret door etc, I immediately think of how these places can be accessed, and the mystery that surrounds a "secret key". The Secret Garden passage is from "The Gardeners Quotational book" given to me by Peggy in a PW forum swap.

This is just beautiful! That is one of my all time favorite books and I think of it often when I see my children learning to tend the plants in the garden ....
