I started out by painting this wooden shadow box with
Adirondack Paint Dabber (Pitch Black), then spritzing with some
Crafty Notions Spray (Tealjcious). I then distressed areas of the box with the ever so cool
Retractable Craft Scratcher and then highlighting with metallic rub on paste. I inked the Pocket Watch
Art Parts with
Distress Stains (Vintage Photo), the stamp in the centre is from
Eco Green Crafts. Other stamps used are from
THE Wendy Vecchi (Steampunk Art & Art is Therapeutic) &
Tim Holtz (Steampunk) sets. All metal embellishments are from the
Ideaology range, the Big Ben Knob is from
7gypsies.

Gillian, this is gorgeous!! What fabulous elements you put together, love the potion bottle.
LOVE this steampunk piece. I am yet to get going on this idea, mostly cos I am not a proud owner of any of these stamps, time to make a pointing finger of my own I think...!
Gillian, this piece is spectacular! I love everything about it!!! Love how you piggybacked the two Wendy Art Parts pocket watches and then suspended them with chains. This is really wonderful Gillian and I'm taking in all the fabulous rich colour, creativity and detail. I love that chap - can't get enough of him and the watches are brilliant. Love it from top to toe! Good to see you and your art...thanks for sharing with Simon says Stamp & Show!
